Brendan Quinn, Camden Diary

Brendan Quinn

In celebration of the Inauguration of President Obama, I've decided to release this, my long in-progress solo album, Camden Diary. It is, as much as anything, a journal of the Bush years, as seen through the eyes of an expatriate. Songwriting for this project began in 2002, and I moved to London, England, in February 2003. Writing and recording work took place on and off between then and now, with principal mixing complete by the end of 2007. Recording methods were often ad-hoc, as I used what equipment and space was available to me at any given time. The final few decisions about the last mix happened during 2008, and the final mix was completed last night, literally on the eve of the inauguration. It is made available here for free, and I hope that you enjoy it. If you feel so moved, please feel free to make a donation. - Brendan Quinn, 20 January, 2009.
